How to hide files in an image

Ever thought of hiding important information inside a jpeg file, so that if any new user clicks your file he/she sees only the image file, while your friend or accomplice knows how to view the hidden information.
Here is how you can do so.

Set up:
1. Must have a .zip or .rar compressor.
2. Willingness to learn.

Steps:
  1. Get any of your favorite .jpeg image file and save it to your desktop.
  2. Create a folder with any name on your desktop.
  3. Add any of the files you want to hide in it.

Now Zip the top secret folder and create a .rar/.zip file on the desktop itself.
Your desktop setup should now be this way.

Now you are good to go.
Open command prompt and go to Desktop location. Alternatively it can be done as ctrl+shift+right-click on desktop and click on 'open command prompt window here'.

Now type in copy /b picturename.jpg + foldername.rar outputfilename.jpg
(in my case copy /b my_fav_pic.jpg + top_secret.rar fun.jpg)

Now go to your desktop you will see a file 'fun.jpg'
If you simply open it you will see the image file and nothing else.

BUT

If you open it with a RAR/ZIP software you can see your hidden folder.. ;)

SO, go ahead and try it out. I am not uploading a screenshot of the same. :P

happy hiding..
