Do you use VLC player? Are you annoyed by the "rebuilding font cache" window and the media player just stops responding or your video starts after a long wait.?
HERE IS A WAY TO PERMANENTLY DISABLE IT.
VIOLA! The font cache problem has been solved permanently.
HERE IS A WAY TO PERMANENTLY DISABLE IT.
- Start VLC and goto Preferences (Ctrl+P)
- On the bottom left corner toggle between the 'show settings' options and select the 'All' radio button.
- See the left pane, there is a option of 'Video', expand it and click on 'Subtitles/OSD'
- Change the 'Text rendering module' to 'Dummy font'
- Save the settings and restart VLC.
VIOLA! The font cache problem has been solved permanently.
thanks really thanks a lot!!!...was searching all over the net to fix the vlc problem....thanks....could you please also tell how to type the rupee symbol using hp g series laptops in which it is inbuilt under the the key "4"...??
